The Pagoda is covered with hundres of goldplates and at the top is encrusted with 4531 diamonds: the largest of which is a 72 Carat diamond.
After walking along the colonial building you can make a photostop at the Kandawgyi Lake ( Royal Lake),which offers you a green atmosphere and the Karaweik Hall is the best place for your dinner with myanmar cultural shows.Don’t miss to visit Bogyoke Market (Scott Market) in downtown and Thirimingalar Vegetable Market, about 8 km from downtown was the main vegetable market for the people in Yangon. Sule Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda, Kabaaye Pagoda in Yangon, Kyaik khauk Pagoda, ruined Portugese Church in Thanlyin and Kyauk Tan Ye Le Phaya were the interesting places around Yangon.
